The Play That Goes Wrong Tickets

The Play That Goes Wrong Ticket Prices

The West End’s longest-running comedy about a ramshackle theatre company and their collapsing set is a hugely popular option for London theatregoers, and prices are very affordable. Tickets start at just £22 and premium seats are rarely more than £90.

It is quite easy to find The Play That Goes Wrong cheap tickets. Offers and discounts are available, but the main thing to remember is that the Duchess Theatre is a very small venue, so wherever you sit you will have a clear view of the stage.

The Play That Goes Wrong Discount Tickets

The Play That Goes Wrong is regularly included in the West End’s biggest promotions, including London Theatre Week (next on in spring 2024). During these promotions, you can get tickets to the show for as little as £15, or treat yourself to some of the best seats in the house for less.

If you cannot find an offer for the date you would like to book, it is worth looking at the restricted view seats on the left-hand side of the Stalls, which cost less than £30 in many cases. The view is very good and you miss fewer visual gags than on the right-hand side of the Stalls. The back of the Dress Circle also has decent views because the theatre is quite small.

When To Book Tickets

Availability is very good for this play even if you book just a week before your chosen date. For the cheapest seats, under £50, it is best to book a month or so in advance for more options. Prices may rise during school holidays and at weekends, so if you can see the show on a Monday - Thursday evening, spend a few minutes comparing prices for the best value.

There is no rush scheme for The Play That Goes Wrong last minute tickets, but you may be able to secure cheaper returns or day seats if you ask in person at the box office.

Top Tips For Your Visit

The Duchess Theatre is in the heart of the West End, with plenty of cheap restaurants and attractions nearby to enjoy before or after a show. Covent Garden is just a short walk away with lots to see and do including The Actors Church (with memorials to Noel Coward, Charlie Chaplin and Vivien Leigh) and the indoor market.

At the theatre, you can bring your own small cold snacks and bottled water to save money on drinks at the bar.
